I purchased this to help my daughter practice for the CAT test. The essay style questions in both the Math and Language sections were more advanced the grade level indicated and not a good indicator of the test itself. If anything it scared her into being less ready for the test.
Great book I'm sure. But didn't work for us as our 2nd grade curriculum wasn't quite represented in this book. God bless!
I bought this book to help a student that I tutor prepare for the end of year standardized tests. It had a lot of good information but I think that it may be harder than the actual test. I wish that you could see several sample pages before purchasing the workbook so you could decide if it was appropriate for your child.
wasn't what I thought it would be.
very good book for practicing
I purchased the book over the summer in order to prepare my daughter for 2nd grade. I had to teach my daughter certain skills before she was able to perform the two-step Math problems. I ended up purchasing another Math book to teach the basic 2nd Math skills before she was able to do problems in the test prep.
Highly recommend!
