I read lots of reviews for touch and feel books before I purchased any. Of all the ones I bought, I am most pleased with this one. The size of the textured patches where my 7 month old can touch/feel is excellent. The size of the book itself is perfect, too. Most of all, the variety of textures in this book is what makes it stand out from the others. Unlike so many other touch and feel books, this one has more than just "soft fur." It has sticky frog toes, bumpy lizard skin, and a smooth dolphin skin! I am very happy with this purchase!
This is the second book of this series that I've bought for my daughter (we also have the farm one which we love too). Here's why we love this book:-each page has a different texture (hairy, bumpy, sticky, etc). There's a fun variety some other touch and feel books will only feature one texture just in different colors. Also the textures are a good size-it has fun bold contrasting colors-theres no clutter in the pictures... Just highlights the featured animal-each page talks about the animal... It's not just a label or animal sound but actually gives an animal fact.My 9 month old loves this book. We read the front to back and then go through it again and talk about the colors of each animal and the sounds it makes. It's an awesome touch and feel book!

This is one of the best touch and feel books I've ever purchased. It's unique. Lion mane, dolphin skin, sticky pads for frog toes... it's just great! Introduces new, unique animals and textures.
Purchased for my daughter 1st birthday I can't wait to five it to her. My five year old loved this book when she was little. And I'm so happy with the price, since everywhere sells ot for much more. The pictures and beautiful and the touch aspect is high quality done very impressed.
Huge area to feel different textures.
My son loves this book. The animals aren't normal touch and feel animals so it's unlikely a child has seen these before. One is a tree frog with sticky toe pads and it's so neat! I will be buying again as a gift.
Cute book, but some of the furs feel exactly the same and I'm not sure if they are supposed to.
